In an undetermined future,
In Pony, AD,
Twilight Sparkle lived an easy life
In the royal library.

There came a threat to block the sun,
And make things bad for everyone,
And Twilight studied hard, until,
The Princess said, "Go make some friends.” And sent her down to Ponyville.

Five ponies drove her crazy,
But little did she see (la la la),
The Princess knew they'd save the world
When they found their harmony.

Since this show is made for children,
You know how this one ends.
The plot is magically resolved
Through the power of having friends.
